My name is Samuel Gbenegbara barimue i am from river state portharcourt, i intended studying mechanical engineering, because of the way i devoted myself to study things cars, but i know by the special grace of God, i can see how my dreams are coming to pass, i really like anything concerning cars that is why i choose mechanical engineering, despite how difficult it is. It evengot to the point that i started making friends with people that liked cars like me too, any time i am discussing with them, i must aways bring topic about cars. Top secret of managing fuel in cars

Knowing more of fuel economy in your car, as fuel price is going higher almost everytime. I know you will all smile as i am done revealing this!!!

Now shall we start!

There is a switch beside your steering wheel called the cruise control, it helps you to manage your fuel efficiently, oo when i showed my daddy how to use it ahh he was so glad about it. Maybe somebody might have tried using it, but for those who have not test and see

Steps involved

1) Press the switch, that is the on/off button, the indicator light will be turned on check for it on your instrument panel, you will see the symbol then it is ready to be used

2) Carry the speed to a desire level, like 60-80km,then push the lever downward to set it, after this, remove your leg from the accelerator, then watch your car moving at that constant speed. You can also push it up to increase the speed or push it down to decrease it, but incase of any emergency, press the on/off button to turn it off. Though you can also apply brake while the system is operating, but for gaining more control you may switch it off. Hmm when i tried it for the first time, i was like ahh let this car not misbehave oo that was so scary for me to use, but don’t be afraid to use it nothing will happen, it is a simple technology for managing fuel, hmmm now that is the only thing we are using frenquently now oo.

Wow this is a very nice feature for those who have suvs with the smart key system, and mostly limited suvs. Now shall we go into details of it

Now, i will like to talk on the smart key first. This is a wonderful setup by car industries, such that apart from the smart entery access,you can even start up your vehicle engine without entering into it, simply by putting the below items into practice…

1) This is for ford edge: if you check on your remote, you will see a button at the top, the first button, just press it twice your trafficator light will flash then your engine will start immediately. Some people go through a long process by going to the car, entering it before start it, ooo that could be so stressful. The 2x indicator is written there, some people might have seen it, but never know the function, it is an engine startup system.

2) This is for highlander limited: same thing here but slight difference with that of the edge. Check for the lock switch on your remote, you will press it three time, but do it gently, your trafficator light flashes, then wait shortly to hear your engine start… oo when it was praticed, i was amazed and suprised how could this be, this great technology. Wow car producers are trying oo, you can see up coming techs abii so good. I wish all of you reading this! could just go get this limited suvs, check it out and enjoy yourself in your perfect vehicle. There are many other suvs or cars to try this with, but i just chose this two because they are my most favourite suvs…

Most of them even have rear entertainment system like televisions on the roof or the back seats where your kids or anyone could watch movies or play games as well… now you can see why i prefer suvs than cars ~~hmmm~~ cars are missing out a lot of technology compared to the suvs. Maybe for those of you who want to buy motor, go for for suvs like highlanders, because most of the limited ones comes with the rear entertainment system, and their prices are quite affordable too…

More items like bsm (blind spot monitor), lane departures, windsheild e.t.c, these are a lot of safety features present in them, and lot more yet to be discovered.
